This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for digital products purchased from Monakai Audio. Because our products are downloadable software, all sales are generally final once a license key or download link has been delivered. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing.

1. Try Before You Buy

We encourage every customer to use our free 7-day trial before purchasing. The trial provides full access to the plugin so you can verify that it works in your DAW and meets your needs. If you are unsure whether a product is right for you, start with the trial.

2. When Refunds Are Available

Refunds may be granted at our sole discretion in the following situations:

• The plugin has a verified technical defect that prevents it from functioning as described, and our support team is unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe.
• You were charged multiple times for the same product due to a payment processing error.
• You accidentally purchased the wrong product and contact us before downloading or activating the license.

3. When Refunds Are Not Available

Refunds will not be granted for the following:

• Change of mind after purchase or trial expiration.
• Incompatibility with a DAW or operating system not listed in our system requirements.
• Misuse, unauthorized redistribution, or violation of our Terms of Service.
• Failure to read the product description, system requirements, or trial terms before purchase.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email support@monakaiaudio.com within 14 days of purchase with your order details, the reason for the request, and any relevant screenshots or error messages. We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.

5. Day One Licenses

Day One licenses are offered at a special launch price and are generally non-refundable. By purchasing a Day One license, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the product description and system requirements.

6. Payment Processor Refunds

Approved refunds are processed through the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
